Daily Activities
Urchfont Pre-School offer a variety of activities throughout the week. These include;
Cooking & Baking, Yoga, Village walks, visiting Coffee and Cake morning at the village hall, Monday morning visit to Oakfrith Woods, Child Initiated Play, Construction, Free Flow Outdoor Play, Small World Play, Crafts, Role Play, Dressing up, Story Time, Outdoor Play in the Playground with Bikes/Trikes and Scooters, Sand and Water play and much more.

Visiting Oakfrith Woods
We are extremely lucky to have the beautiful Oakfrith Woods on our doorstep.
Every Monday morning we all get into our Coats, waterproofs and wellingtons and head to the woods to explore and learn about nature. Snack time in the woods includes a Hot Chocolate and Biscuits.
The children love to jump in the muddy puddles, play games and have story time in the woods.
Our Daily Routine
At Urchfont Pre-school we offer free flow (indoor and outdoor) throughout
the day with child-initiated activities.

Therefore, each day can look slightly different. However, each day has a similar flow in
order for the children to become familiar with our routine:

9-10.45am - Free flow, including rolling snack (drop off at 9 and 9.15)
10.45-11am - Group activities
11-11.45am - Playground or playing field session
11.45am-12pm - Helicopter stories/ Books
12-1pm - Lunch
1-2.45pm - Free flow, including afternoon rolling snack
2.45pm - Tidy up and sharing stories or songs
3-3.15 - Pick up
